Esports World Cup 2025 LoL Schedule and Format
The League of Legends tournament kicks off with the Group Stage from July 16 to 17, followed immediately by the Playoffs, which run July 17 through 20. Here’s how the format plays out:
- Group Stage (July 16–17)
Eight teams seeded 5th to 12th from the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) will enter the Group Stage. These teams are divided into two separate double-elimination brackets with four teams each.

- The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.
