Valve has introduced the CS2 Pick'Ems Challenge for the eagerly awaited PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. This feature empowers fans to forecast match results during the Major event, with the opportunity to earn exclusive in-game rewards based on the accuracy of their predictions. This guide will boost your chances of winning the CS2 Copenhagen Major Pick’Em Diamond coin!

What are CS2 Pick'Ems?

The Pick'em Challenge offers Counter-Strike fans an interactive way to engage with the tournament by predicting match winners and overall tournament outcomes. Participants make these predictions through an in-game interface before each phase, adding to the excitement of watching each match during the tournament. This year, the first-ever Pick’Ems for Counter-Strike 2 will feature predictions for the CS2 PGL Copenhagen Major.

Successful predictions can earn participants exclusive rewards, including one of the rare profile coins, which can be Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond.

To enter the Pick'em Challenge, players can buy a Pass from the in-game store or Steam marketplace, priced at approximately $10. With this pass, they gain access to the panel, where they can forecast match outcomes in the tournament. Participants must choose the winning team for each match, and their accuracy earns them points.

Keep in mind that those $10 are gone regardless of whether you achieve a reward or not, so you might want to consider investing them in a couple of matches with a CS2 Elo Booster instead!

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Opening Stage Pick'Ems

Right now, the Opening Stage is the only available stage for CS2 Pick'Ems. The Elimination Stage and Playoffs will become accessible as the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 unfolds. To advance from the first stage and remain eligible for the Diamond coin, participants must accurately select 5 out of 10 CS2 Pick'Ems in the Opening Stage.

Given the relatively weak nature of the Opening Stage, a few specific teams are set to perform exceptionally well. Cloud9 and Heroic are expected to steamroll their way through the competition with a 3:0 record. Apeks, TheMongolZ, and FURIA are expected to secure three series victories each, while SAW would be our wildcard pick since they have been in impeccable shape but aren’t particularly household names yet.

Meanwhile, Legacy and ECSTATIC are unlikely to show up at all in the Opening Stage of what is one of the biggest Counter-Strike competitions. While Legacy features the return of coldzera, their bottom-ranking position suggests they may struggle to even survive the early stages of the competition. Similarly, ECSTATIC, while commendable for qualifying, will find a challenging journey ahead.

According to our research, some of the most selected teams to triumph in the opening stage of the CS2 PGL Copenhagen Major include Eternal Fire, Heroic, ENCE, SAW, Cloud9, and FURIA. All of these squads have the morale boost advantage, and getting more points in the Pick’Em will only add to that.

To participate in the Elimination Stage and Playoffs Pick'Ems for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, we will have to wait until the tournament enters these stages. Valve will update the game after the final match of each stage, allowing us to select the next set of CS2 Pick'Ems.
