T1 just hired a new recruit who will shock their rivals Paper Rex
T1, the renowned South Korean esports organization, has unveiled three fresh faces for their Valorant roster as they prepare for the highly anticipated VCT 2024 season. This exciting announcement was made on September 12th, introducing Lee "k1Ng" Seung-won, Ham "iZu" Woo-joo, and Kevin "xccurate" Susanto. Notably, Kevin "xccurate" Susanto is none other than the older sibling of Paper Rex’s superstar player, Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto.
These three talented players are set to occupy the voids left by the departures of Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom, Joseph "ban" Seungmin Oh, and Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun, who bid farewell to T1 at the inception of the 2023 off-season.

Kevin "xccurate" Susanto has made an official transition to Valorant after a remarkable seven-year career in CS:GO. Hailing from Indonesia, he is widely recognized as one of Asia's most accomplished Counter-Strike players. Over the years, he has represented esteemed esports teams, including the Indonesian outfits Jakara Juggernauts and Recca Esports. Additionally, Kevin has also ventured into international territory, competing for Team NKT and the Chinese esports juggernaut TYLOO. During his tenure with TYLOO from 2018 to 2019, the team achieved significant milestones, securing second place in the Asia Minor Championship Berlin 2019 and earning qualification for two DreamHack Masters events in Malmo and Dallas.
Joining T1 alongside Kevin is k1Ng, a formidable Korean Valorant professional who was part of Vision Striker's historic Valorant roster that achieved a staggering 104 consecutive victories in 2021. K1Ng is exactly the player T1 needs to boost their roster out of the loss streak that’s been haunting the organization over the past few events. Although he had a stint with Gen.G Esports' Valorant roster in the preceding year, the organization decided to part ways with all their players during the off-season, with the exception of Kim "Meteor" Tae-O.
Completing T1’s VCT 2024 lineup is iZu, an emerging duelist main, hailing from the Valorant Challengers League Japan scene. He boasts a reputation as one of the top duelist mains in his region, having secured a remarkable second-place finish in VCL Japan Split 2, showcasing his immense potential.
This trio of talents will join forces with former Overwatch stars Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok and Ha "Sayaplayer" Jung-woo, along with the seasoned CS:GO professional, Son "xeta" Seon-ho, as they gear up for an action-packed VCT 2024 season.
As of now, T1 has not disclosed the specific roles each member will assume or the active lineup they will field, keeping fans in eager anticipation of their competitive strategy.
