Riot Games has kicked off a brand-new limited-time event in VALORANT, giving players a fresh reason to jump into matches and grind for exclusive cosmetics. The Night Queue challenge runs from March 4 to March 23, 2026, introducing a two-stage progression system packed with quests, social challenges, and community content submissions.

Whether you’re logging in solo or stacking with friends, the event offers multiple ways to earn points and unlock unique rewards along the way. How the Night Queue Event Works

Before jumping into the challenges, players must first register for the event through Riot’s official For The Win challenge platform using their Riot Games account. Once signed up, the Night Queue event unlocks two separate stages that players must complete sequentially.

Each stage contains its own set of quests that reward points based on in-game performance, teamwork, and participation in community activities.

The goal in both stages is simple: earn 500 points to unlock the stage reward.

Stage One: Warming Up

The first phase, Warming Up, runs from March 4 to March 14, 2026. This stage focuses on accessible objectives designed to encourage regular play across all game modes.

Players can complete the following quests to accumulate points:

• Win: Winning a match in any mode grants 1 point
• Loss: Finishing a match also grants 1 point, even if the team loses
• Kills: Every kill during a match awards 1 point
• Credits Spent: Spending 10,000 credits during matches provides 15 points
• Better With Friends: Playing with friends grants 1 extra point per match
• Express Yourself: Participating in the WINGMAN’s Corner creative challenge rewards 20 points

Once players reach the 500-point milestone, they unlock the exclusive “Hari Raya Homecoming” player card, a cosmetic item celebrating the event.

Stage Two: Night Owl

After completing the first stage, players gain access to the Night Owl challenge. This phase runs from March 14 to March 23, 2026, and raises the difficulty with more skill-focused objectives.

Eligible modes for these quests include Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Spike Rush.

Here are the Night Owl challenges:

• Headshots: Land 15 or more headshots in a single match to earn 15 points
• Spikes: Gain 5 points for each spike planted or defused by your team
• Rounds Won: Every 10 rounds won rewards 15 points
• Better With Friends: Playing with friends continues to grant 1 extra point
• Express Yourself: Participate again in the WINGMAN’s Corner challenge for 20 points

Reaching 500 points during Night Owl rewards players with the “Last Round Before Dawn” player card, another cosmetic tied exclusively to this event.

The WINGMAN’s Corner Creative Challenge

One of the more unique aspects of the Night Queue event is the WINGMAN’s Corner challenge. Instead of completing in-game objectives, players can submit short videos using a special Wingman filter on TikTok.

The effect is inspired by Gekko’s Wingman ability, letting players recreate the playful personality of the agent’s companion in short video clips.

Participants who submit an approved video receive additional points and may also earn the “Alarmboi Out” spray, an exclusive cosmetic reward.

Submission Guidelines

To qualify, videos must follow several rules:

• Clips must be 15 to 60 seconds long
• Only one submission per participant
• The applicant must be the only person appearing in the video
• No copyrighted music may be used
• Chats, Discord logs, or messaging systems cannot appear on screen
• Content must avoid explicit, offensive, or harmful material

Following these guidelines ensures submissions remain eligible for both points and the spray reward.

Claiming Your Night Queue Rewards

All rewards earned during the Night Queue event can be claimed through the Rewards tab within the Profile section of the For The Win challenge platform.

Because the event runs for just under three weeks, players who want to unlock both player cards will need to stay active throughout the challenge period. Events like this often encourage players to queue more frequently, experiment with different modes, and team up with friends to progress faster.
