When does Valorant Episode 8: Act 2 end?

After Riot Games announced Project A in October 2019, no one expected the powerhouse that Valorant eventually became. Four years later, Valorant is the king of first-person shooter multiplayer games, gathering millions of players from around the world. In 2024, Valorant is generating hundreds of millions of dollars per year through in-game cosmetics, merchandise, content creation, Valorant Elo Boosting, and Esports events.

One year after winning every major award in the gaming industry, Valorant is turning 4 years old, and Riot Games has already announced there will be a lot to celebrate in Valorant Episode 9. But before we reach that milestone, Episode 8: Act 3 awaits, promising an action-packed, ranked season unlike anything the gaming world has ever experienced.

Valorant Episode 8: Act 2 End Date Released

Valorant Episode 8: Act 2 will end on April 30, 2024. The new act will continue for approximately two months, in line with previous acts and episodes.

Clove

This means there are currently less than three weeks before everyone’s ranks reset and Riot Games jump-starts the last Act of the Episode.

The current Act brought us Agent 25: Clove, a mysterious Controller who takes a page from each of our favorite agents’ books and adds a self-sustaining approach to their gameplay. The biggest weapon in Clove’s arsenal, however, isn’t the Outlaw, but their ultimate “Not Dead Yet”, which allows them to return to life after being eliminated.

As the Act draws to an end, we can’t forget the 2024 Masters Madrid, where Clove was first introduced to the Valorant community, where a record-breaking 1.69 million viewers witnessed as Sentinels took down the nearly invincible Gen.G, winning their first LAN tournament in over three years!

When does Valorant Episode 8: Act 3 begin?

Riot Games has confirmed that the third and final act of Episode 8 will start on June 25, 2024, introducing the last big patch of the ranked season and starting the final countdown for players to get their Valorant rank boosting done before a complete rank reset happens in Valorant Episode 9.

This means that Valorant Episode 9 begins on June 25, 2024, marking the beginning of Valorant’s 4th anniversary celebrations.

According to recent leaks, Riot is developing a new map to boost the Valorant rotation in Episode 9. The new map will be called Bastion, and leaks suggest it will be either a Team Deathmatch arena or a Competitive and Unrated queue map. As per the only leaked image of Bastion, it’s impossible not to compare this scenario with multiple CS2 maps.

Valorant Map Bastion

For now, there’s still time to enjoy Valorant Episode 8: Act 2, grind the battle pass, collect all the cosmetics for the Valorant X Discord event, and become a master as Clove.
