The roster for the upcoming North American tournament, representing Disguised Toast's Valorant Game Changers, has been revealed.
DSG gave Valorant streams a major boost, and the FPS' players are thrilled to see them return!
Jeremy 'Disguised Toast' Wang, a prominent content creator, fielded a Game Changers lineup for the first annual North American tournament starring players from his esports organization, DSG. Since being relegated from the North American Challengers League, the Disguised professional team hasn't had a Valorant squad for almost a month.
Disguised's team did not advance very far in the competition and received heavy criticism from some fans for having on its roster content creators like Kaede 'Kyedae' Shymko. After falling to Evil Geniuses and SHIFT X, the squad failed to advance through the open qualifying round.
After finding new players to boost his Valorant roster, Disguised has announced DSG's comeback to the Game Changers scene. The Game Changers Series II competition, which begins on July 13 with the open qualifying section, will feature the Disguised women's team showcasing their Radiant skills. The tournament's main event is scheduled to run from July 26 to July 30.
Who is on DSG's new roster?
Along with some new younger players, the new team includes seasoned Game Changers players Hannah "hannah" Reyes and "katarina." There are no content producers or influencers included on the DSG Game Changers roster this time around, and fans of the Valorant competitive scene are happy to see that the organization's focus shifted from gaining viewers to providing high-quality gameplay and results in the tournament.
DSG's new roster is getting a huge skill boost since, this time, it will count with 'katarina', 'hannah', ‘nathn’, ‘misu, and ‘unstable’. Chris ‘Huijinyong’ Yong will be coaching the squad.
While Katarina gained notoriety on VersionX, Hannah is best known for her time on Gen.G Black. The group, mainly composed of teenage rising stars, will be led by the team's head coach and both veterans.
You can watch DSG compete on July 14 as it battles against other squads in the Game Changers open qualification round.
What is the VCT Game Changers?
The Game Changers tournament was founded with the intention of giving female players everywhere in the world a secure and welcoming competitive atmosphere. Riot Games is making adjustments to the EMEA circuit's framework in an effort to make competition more accessible to a wider audience. Even though we were aware that additional tournaments would be held, little was known about them. In an interview, Ashley Washington, the product lead for the circuit, clarified a few of the ambiguities.

The EMEA Game Changers will be split into three distinct competitions, which will be held throughout the upcoming months. Each time, the two groups of eight squads battle for seven days during the regular season. For this stage, Riot chose to use the Round-Robin format. Every team will face each other in a best-of-three series.
The TOP six will compete in the playoffs after this first phase. The format featured a double-elimination bracket. The finals will be held in a best-of-five format.
The two top-performing organizations will represent EMEA at the Game Changers Championship, the main event of the new tournament.
