Fut ESPORTS Defeated Vitality to Become the 2023 Convergence Champions

In a showdown that had the Valorant community on the edge of their seats, FUT Esports emerged victorious against Team Vitality in the grand final of Valorant Convergence 2023, securing a very solid 3-1 victory. As the dust settled on this international bout, Doğukan "qRaxs" Balaban stole the spotlight, earning the title of MVP for his performance with KAY/O, which was simply out of this world. Apart from the popularity boost and a spot in Valorant’s competitive history, FUT Esports walks away with the championship crown and $25,000 USD in prize money.

Valorant Convergence 2023, a high-stakes competition that gathered some of the best teams in Valorant history, witnessed FUT Esports and Team Vitality dominate the competition throughout the tournament, rising above everyone else in their respective groups. FUT Esports proved to be the new generation of champions by destroying Gen.G Esports and True Rippers, while Team Vitality secured victories against Global Esports and FURIA Esports, one of the most awarded Valorant team in the world, setting the stage for an epic face-off in the grand final.

Stakes were high for both teams as they stepped onto the sage for a best-of-five showdown that took place at the Manpho Convention Center in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, offering a live audience an unforgettable display of Valorant gameplay. Team Vitality, known for their fearless playstyle, took an early advantage across multiple maps, but FUT Esports turned it around, staging an epic comeback that ultimately secured their triumph.

Team Vitality set the tone by getting a victory on FUT Esports' map pick, Ascent. Emil "runneR" Trajkovski's standout performance on Jett boosted Vitality forward, establishing momentum and securing the initial lead.

Map 2: Sunset | 13-11 | FUT Esports Wins

On Sunset, FUT Esports' map pick for a second round, they managed to get back on track and stop Vitality as they secured a hard-fought win. Doğukan "qRaxs" Balaban's performance with KAY/O and the team's aggressive executes proved that even when ahead, Vitality can be defeated.

Map 3: Lotus | 13-11 | FUT Esports Wins

Vitality were sure they would dominate Lotus after achieving a staggering 10-round lead. However, FUT Esports mounted an aggressive counterattack, winning 11 consecutive rounds and shocking everyone. Mehmet "cNed" Yağız İpek's stellar performance on Raze fueled the comeback.

Map 4: Haven | 13-8 | FUT Esports Wins

Facing Haven as Vitality's map pick, FUT Esports gave it their all to stay above the surface and, for the first time in the series, secured a 6-6 scoreline.

As FUT Esports switched to attack, they used the momentum boost from cNed's outstanding Jett plays, sealing the deal and becoming the Valorant Convergence 2023 Champions.
