NAVI Opens Applications for CS2 Junior Counter Strike Roster

Natus Vincere is opening its doors to the next generation of Counter Strike talent. The Ukrainian esports giant has officially launched applications for its junior CS2 roster, offering young players a rare opportunity to train under one of the most prestigious names in competitive gaming.

This move comes after NAVI sold its previous junior team earlier this year, giving those players a chance to continue their professional journey elsewhere. Now, the organisation is ready to scout fresh prospects who can climb the rank ladder and potentially become future stars in Counter Strike 2.

A Proven Pathway to the Top

The NAVI Junior project, now in its third season, has already proven itself as a talent factory. Several players from Ukraine and neighboring regions have risen through the system to compete at the highest level of Counter Strike.

One of the most recent success stories is Drin “Makazze” Shaqiri. After developing within NAVI’s junior program, Makazze earned a call-up to the main CS2 roster. His debut came at IEM Cologne 2025, where NAVI secured a top-four finish — a result that not only boosted his profile but also underscored the effectiveness of NAVI’s talent pipeline.

The previous NAVI Junior roster officially departed the organisation on August 1, 2025, following a transfer to Turkish organisation FUT Esports. While the fee remains undisclosed, the move shows how the program has been a springboard for emerging talent to reach bigger stages.

Who Can Apply?

The new recruitment round is open to Counter Strike players aged 15 to 17. It’s more than just an open tryout — it’s a structured opportunity to learn from a professional coaching team, develop high-level strategies, and gain first-hand experience in competitive CS2.

To be eligible, applicants must meet two key requirements:

  • A FACEIT ELO rating of 3,400 or higher
  • Proficiency in English

These conditions ensure that candidates already possess a strong foundation in mechanical skill and communication — two factors critical for boosting team performance at the pro level.

NAVI’s Esports Reach in 2025

While NAVI’s roots are firmly planted in Counter Strike, 2025 has been a year of expansion across multiple esports. Alongside its CS2 program, the organisation also runs a junior Dota 2 roster. This squad recently earned promotion to the main team after an impressive performance at PGL Wallachia Season 5, proving NAVI’s development model works across different titles.

The organisation has also branched into other competitive games, including CrossFire and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, bolstered by its partnership status in the Esports World Cup. This diversification not only broadens NAVI’s brand presence but also provides more opportunities for young players to find their niche in professional gaming.

Perhaps the biggest headline of NAVI’s 2025 expansion came in June, when it officially joined the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC). The team’s goal? To qualify for the prestigious World Championship and establish itself as a serious contender in another tier-one esport.

Why the Junior CS2 Program

In the competitive Counter Strike scene, breaking into the professional ranks can be a daunting challenge. High-skill players often face limited exposure and a lack of structured opportunities to prove themselves. NAVI’s junior program bridges that gap, offering structured training, mentorship, and competitive match experience against strong opponents.

For players who meet the requirements, joining NAVI Junior is more than just a résumé boost — it’s a direct pathway into the highest levels of CS2 competition. Past graduates have demonstrated that with the right guidance, young talent can quickly adapt to the demands of pro play and make a name for themselves on the global stage.

As Counter Strike 2 continues to evolve, teams like NAVI are investing heavily in youth development. The combination of coaching, competitive reps, and exposure to a winning culture can accelerate growth, boosting both individual skill and team potential.

How to Apply

Aspiring players can submit their applications directly through NAVI’s official channels. With limited slots available, competition is expected to be fierce. For those aiming to rise through the rank hierarchy in CS2, this is one of the most direct and prestigious routes available in 2025.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your mechanical skills, master in-game leadership, or simply gain experience in a professional esports environment, NAVI Junior offers a chance to do it under the guidance of one of the most successful organisations in Counter Strike history.

For talented young players, this could be the first step toward a career at the very top of competitive gaming — and the boost they need to turn ambition into achievement.
