Every Team Qualified for the LoL Mid-Season Invitation 2025
As the competitive League of Legends calendar heats up, excitement is building for the second international event of the year: the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 (MSI). While MSI has traditionally been the first international clash of regions, Riot shook things up this season with the debut of First Stand in Seoul, South Korea. That early tournament gave fans a taste of what’s to come—and now, MSI is set to boost the stakes even higher.
Where Will the 2025 MSI Take Place?
The League of Legends 2025 Mid-Season Invitational will be held in the Pacific Coloseum in Vancoucer, marking the first time this event is held in Canada, and spreading LoL's influence across borders once again.
With each region deep into its Spring Split playoffs, several top-tier teams have already locked in their spots. If you're looking to keep track of which squads will represent their leagues or just want to boost your League of Legends knowledge before the event kicks off, here’s a full breakdown of the MSI 2025 qualified teams so far.
LEC – Two Seeds
- G2 Esports
- Fnatic / Karmine Corp / Movistar KOI (TBD)
G2 Esports have already punched their ticket to MSI after taking down MKOI in the LEC Spring Playoffs upper bracket. Their exact seeding will depend on the outcome of the final, where one of Fnatic, Karmine Corp, or Movistar KOI will join them.
G2’s consistency continues to boost Europe’s confidence on the international stage, and depending on the outcome of the finals, we might see a longtime rival return—or a newer team rise to boost the region’s hopes.
LCK – Two Seeds
- Gen.G / Hanwha Life Esports
- TBD
The LCK has yet to finalize its MSI lineup, but either Gen.G or Hanwha Life Esports is guaranteed a spot. The winner of their first playoff series will auto-qualify for the finals and, with that, secure a trip to MSI.
With Hanwha already claiming victory at First Stand, expectations are high. If both Korean representatives continue their dominant run, they could boost LCK’s chances of taking home the title again.
LPL – Two Seeds
- TBD
- TBD
China’s LPL remains the most competitive region, boasting the largest playoff bracket. Its two MSI seeds will be decided on Friday, June 13, when the Split 2 finalists emerge.
Given the LPL’s deep talent pool, both teams heading to MSI will likely be world-class contenders. Whether it’s JDG, BLG, or a surprise underdog, their presence is sure to boost the tournament’s intensity and quality.
LTA North – One Seed
The North Conference is stacked with four teams still in the playoff race. Only one will advance to MSI, with the winner decided in the final on Sunday, June 15. C9 and Liquid have the legacy, while FlyQuest and Shopify Rebellion are hungry to boost their rank among NA’s elite. |

This showdown will determine which squad represents the region at one of the year’s most critical tournaments.
LTA South – One Seed
- paiN Gaming / FURIA / Vivo Keyd Stars / Isurus Estral (TBD)
South America's representative will also be decided on June 15, mirroring the North’s format. While only one team can qualify, the competition is fierce. A strong showing at MSI would be a huge boost for the region, helping to put LTA South on the global radar.
LCP – Two Seeds
- CTBC Flying Oyster
- TALON / GAM Esports / Team Whales Secret (TBD)
The LCP (Pacific) has already confirmed CTBC Flying Oyster after their dramatic reverse sweep against TALON. For the second spot, TALON now waits to face the winner of GAM Esports vs. Team Whales Secret.
This early confirmation means the Pacific region is the first to fully enter MSI prep mode, aiming to boost its standing after some underwhelming showings in previous seasons.
