How to Destroy the Shop in League of Legends

League of Legends has seen its fair share of bugs and exploits over the years, but a newly discovered issue may be one of the most disruptive yet. A recent exploit allows players to kill the enemy shopkeeper, effectively preventing opponents from purchasing items unless they die. This bug, exposed by the well-known LoL content creator Vandiril, has major implications for ranked games and could even be used as a boosting tool if not quickly patched.

LoL Exploit Lets Players Kill the Shopkeeper

According to Vandiril’s latest video, this exploit completely removes the enemy’s ability to buy items unless they respawn. Simply recalling to base won’t restore the shopkeeper, meaning players will be stuck with a growing pile of unspent gold until they die in battle. The exploit is eerily reminiscent of past MOBA bugs, such as DotA’s ability to destroy the enemy fountain, leaving teams helpless.

However, unlike some harmless visual glitches, this bug poses a serious risk to ranked integrity in League of Legends. Without the ability to buy crucial items, players are left at a severe disadvantage, essentially turning matches into one-sided stomps.

Using This Exploit Can Get You Banned

While some players might be tempted to test the exploit, doing so comes with major risks. This bug isn’t just a random in-game interaction—it requires the use of external scripts, which are strictly against Riot Games’ policies. Anyone caught using it will likely face a permanent ban. There are far safer ways to guarantee wins, including hiring a pro-player for a LoL Duo Boosting service. Riot has consistently cracked down on scripting and third-party tools, making it clear that abusing such exploits won’t be tolerated.

Vandiril also pointed out that the player who showcased the exploit hasn’t been seen in any other games since. This could indicate an immediate ban or suggest that the user was operating on a disposable account solely to expose the bug. Either way, Riot is likely already working on a fix before it can be weaponized in ranked games.

LoL’s Best Exploits

League of Legends has a long history of bizarre and often hilarious bugs. Over the years, players have encountered everything from invincible champions to infinite ability spams. Some of these exploits have been game-breaking, while others have simply provided comic relief.

One of the most infamous exploits in LoL’s history was the infinite recall bug, which allowed champions to teleport back to base instantly, avoiding any incoming damage. Another was the permanent crowd control glitch, where players could be locked in stuns or silences for the entire match. But the most incredible one has to be a bug that allowed players to push Baron Nashor across the map and into the enemy base.

While many of these bugs were eventually patched out, this shopkeeper-killing exploit is among the most dangerous, as it directly impacts the core mechanics of boosting, ranked matches, and overall game balance.

Riot’s Response

Riot Games has yet to release an official statement on the exploit, but given its potential to disrupt competitive play, a fix will likely be implemented soon. The developer has been proactive in addressing major game-breaking bugs, especially those that can be exploited for unfair advantages in ranked matches.

In the meantime, players should report any suspicious activity and avoid attempting the exploit themselves. While it may be tempting to mess around with LoL’s latest unintended feature, the risk of a permanent ban far outweighs the short-lived amusement of seeing an enemy team struggle without a shopkeeper.

Exploits like this serve as a reminder of just how complex online games like League of Legends are. With constant updates, patches, and champion changes, unexpected bugs are bound to appear. However, when these issues start to affect ranked play and boosting strategies, they become a serious problem that needs immediate attention.

Hopefully, Riot Games will roll out a fix before competitive integrity takes a major hit. Until then, players should stay vigilant and keep an eye out for any unusual in-game behavior that could indicate abuse of this exploit.
