Riot has released a new set of skins for League of Legends, which have a gothic and fantasy aesthetic.

League of Legends has launched a new gothic and fantasy-inspired skin line. There are other lines of skins that seem similar, but the latest League of Legends: Broken Covenant skins stand out thanks to their fantastic animations, SFX, and VFX.

Riot will be launching seven new skins and an extra prestige skin. There has to be a celebration or event for these skins, that's almost for sure. Nevertheless, before you can purchase the Broken Covenant skins in the League of Legends client, let's review all of the champions, their costs, and when you can expect to be able to do so.

The most crucial information is, of course, which champions will be getting skins from this skin line. Well, Riot is expanding and showing some diversity by including beast champions, one of which even hails from the Void, instead of sticking to the latest trend of underdressed humanoid champions. This new range confirms that they have been listening to the community!

The champions who will receive Broken Covenant skins are Cho'Gath, Nocturne, Xayah, Rakan, Vladimir, Riven, who will receive the legendary skin, and Miss Fortune, who will receive both the normal and prestige versions.

While some fans are wondering how MF is getting a second Prestige skin instead of Cho or even Riven herself, ad carry enthusiasts are extremely happy about the choice.

Personally, I would love to see Cho get a Prestige, since it would give the creative team behind the skins a lot of space to work with, or even something for Vlad or Nocturne, who have been out of the spotlight for a very long time now.

No word yet on whether or not there will be a launch party or Skin Showcase for this new skin line (like the Eclipse showcase back in 2022). It would be great if, now that the Lunar Revel festival is over, a new, smaller in-client event sprung up to let gamers farm the battle pass for tokens.

On February 22, 2023, when Patch 13.5 of League of Legends goes live in the Public Beta Environment, we will find out if Riot has scheduled an event for the Broken Covenant skins.

These skins will be made accessible shortly, so it's a good idea to start planning your next RP purchase. If you're one of the players already using the Microsoft Rewards program to earn Riot Points, you might want to start grinding a lot more over the next two weeks. If you're too busy to play all the time, it can be a good idea to purchase Solo Boosting instead. Having a booster grind matches quickly means you earn more rewards faster! You can even use the Mastery Boosting service to get Level 7 on your favorite champions, while winning free RP!

If you've had your eye on the Riven legendary skin, now is the time to fill your vaults with the precious Riot Points, since Patch 13.5 of League of Legends will introduce the Broken Covenant skins.

You may find the new skins around March 8, 2023, one day following the patch coming online, as is usual.
