Counter Strike 2 and CS:GO's Top 10 Most Expensive and Rarest Stickers

CS:GO, and now Counter-Strike 2, have always been known for having the most valuable market on Steam, with digital cosmetics ranging from weapon skins to knives that move around millions of dollars per year.

Some stickers in Counter-Strike are exceptionally expensive, reaching tens of thousands of dollars for the most sought-after ones. These stickers have become highly coveted items in the Counter-Strike 2 market, and boosting your rarest weapon skin with an even rarer sticker is a sign of respect in the Counter-Strike online community.

Stickers occupy a unique space in this market, especially since they can’t be purchased in the Steam Market, and their costs are determined by factors like limited availability and rarity. Those who want to purchase one of these rare trinkets can find them exclusively on third-party websites like Skinport, BitSkins, or CS.Money.

Applying these expensive stickers to weapons can significantly increase the overall value of the weapon. However, it comes at the expense of losing the individual value of the sticker itself. Notably, one of the most expensive gun skins ever sold in Counter-Strike featured an AK-47 adorned with four Titan Holo stickers.

There are five rarities in which stickers in CS:GO, now in Counter-Strike 2, are classified: High Grade, Remarkable/Holo/Glitter (Purple), Exotic/Foil (Pink), Souvenir/Gold (Red), and Contraband (Gold). Contraband stickers are particularly rare, with only one sticker, The Howling Dawn, holding this status after Valve reworked its initially plagiarized artwork.

Top 10 Most Expensive Counter Strike Stickers

Clan-Mystik (Holo) | Katowice (2014), $7,000

The EMS Katowice (2014) Challengers capsule contains the Clan Mystik Holo, which is slightly more expensive than the NaVi Holo and features a French squad with recognizable faces.

LGB Esports (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $8,000

Another Holo from the EMS Katowice (2014) Legends capsule, the LGB Esports sticker is associated with the core members who went on to boost the Fnatic dynasty.

HellRaisers (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $11,000

Hailing from the EMS Katowice (2014) Legends capsule, the HellRaisers Holo stands out with flame decals inside the HR logo, providing good contrast on a lot of weapon skins that need it.

Natus Vincere (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $11,000

Fresh from the more expensive EMS Katowice (2014) Challengers capsule, the Natus Vincere roster crashed out dead last at this Major. Although one silver lining, one of Counter-Strike’s most legendary AWPers of all time, Ladislav ‘GuardiaN’ Kovács, made his Major debut here.

Natus Vincere Holo Katowice 2014

Vox Eminor (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $28,000

Pulled from an EMS Katowice (2014) Challengers capsule, the Australian Vox Eminor roster was led by none other than legendary player-turned-caster Chad ‘SPUNJ’ Burchill. While the team was eliminated early on, their sticker remains one of the most sought-after in the game.

Team Dignitas (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $32,000

Found in the EMS Katowice (2014) Legends capsule, the all-Danish roster of Team Dignitas replaced Nicolaj ‘Nico’ Jensen for René ‘cajunb’ Borg in time for EMS One and comprised a core who would go on to form the legendary Astralis squad.

Team LDLC (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $34,000

Team LDLC has a controversial storyline, which could be why their team’s Kato 2014 sticker ranks so high. One of the members, Hovik ‘KQLY’ Tovmassian, was caught cheating and received an indefinite Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban after the Major. The team’s sticker can be found in the EMS Katowice (2014) Legends capsule. The sticker also has a rainbow-colored effect.

Reason Gaming (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $50,000+

Of the ‘big three’, the Reason Gaming Holo is the least expensive, but it looks amazing. It has a massive holo area, with the orange gradient and joystick outline in the middle of the logo, making it one of the best-looking stickers in CS history that can boost the looks of any weapon to a whole new level.

iBUYPOWER (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $70,000+

In the number two spot is, of course, the iBUYPOWER Holo. Given that most of the more expensive stickers have some kind of narrative associated with them, it’s no surprise that this one takes top honors.

Titan Holo Katowice 2014

Titan (Holo) | Katowice (2014): $80,000+

The final sticker to come from the EMS Katowice (2014) Legends capsule, the Titan squad at EMS One consisted of Belgian Counter-Strike headshot king Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom. While the team flopped out in 9th–12th place, the sticker is the cream of the crop of CS:GO stickers. The bright, shiny blue gives this Titan Holo an expensive look, matched by the price.

As of November 2023, these prices reflect the rarity, demand, and historical significance of these stickers, making them prized possessions for collectors in the Counter-Strike community.
