The goal is to convince unsuspecting viewers that they are watching an authentic stream from a trusted source.

Throughout these streams, QR codes or suspicious links pop up, promising free CS2 skins or double returns on money deposits. However, these links direct players to phishing websites that request their Steam login credentials. Once entered, the scammers gain full access to their victims' accounts, allowing them to steal high-value skins and in-game items.

For those tricked into sending digital currencies, the scam is even more straightforward—once the transaction is complete, the money is gone for good, funneled directly into scammer-controlled wallets.
