FUT Esports Enters CS2 With ScreaM and Nivera in Star-Studded Lineup
Turkish powerhouse FUT Esports is officially joining the Counter Strike 2 competitive scene with a bold new move: the signing of a six-man international roster. With top-tier veterans, rising talents, and fan-favorite personalities like ScreaM and Nivera, the organization is looking to make an impact as it transitions from Valorant dominance to CS2 aspirations.
Announced on X (formerly Twitter) with the message “FUT CS2 has joined the server,” the lineup includes four French players and two Belgians. It’s an ambitious project aiming to build rank and recognition from Europe’s lower-tier system all the way to the CS2 spotlight.
A Veteran Core to Boost FUT’s CS2 Ambitions
At the heart of FUT’s new CS2 roster are some familiar faces. Audric "JACKZ" Jug joins the team following a brief stint with Ninjas in Pyjamas, bringing explosive rifling and experience from his time with G2 Esports. Alongside him is Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier, a name well-known for his time with Team Vitality and Team Falcons. Both players have the potential to boost FUT’s chances in Europe’s crowded CS2 ecosystem.
The roster is further strengthened by the signing of Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom. While he returned to Counter Strike 2 in 2024 with Revenant Esports, Nivera has been relatively inactive since that team folded. Now reunited with his brother, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, the chemistry could become a major asset for FUT.
The team also brings in David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljević and Etienne “drac” Salaün, both formerly of GenOne. With coaching from François-Xavier ‘falco’ Collinet and management by Garrixer, FUT is stacking not only raw skill but also solid leadership.
ScreaM Returns to Counter Strike 2
One of the most exciting announcements from FUT Esports was the return of ScreaM — the legendary “Headshot Machine.” While he’s currently listed as a substitute and content creator, ScreaM has made it clear that his goal is to return fully to competitive CS2. In a post shared shortly after the announcement, he said:
“Excited to announce a new chapter in my journey as I join FUT Esports alongside my brother [Nivera]… My goal is to fully come back to competitive CS once I familiarize with the game and feel ready.”
ScreaM’s Counter Strike legacy is well-established. Rising to fame in 2013 with VeryGames, he became known for his jaw-dropping aim and clutch plays. Over the years, he played for top organizations, including Titan, G2, and EnVyUs, participating in eight majors. However, despite strong performances, he never quite surpassed his 2013 semifinal finish at DreamHack Winter.
After a transition to Valorant in 2020, ScreaM helped boost Europe’s competitive scene and quickly became one of its biggest stars. Now, he’s circling back to his CS roots — albeit cautiously.
Climbing the CS2 Ladder: What’s Next for FUT?
FUT Esports is no stranger to competitive success. Best known for its Valorant roster, the organization also fields teams in PUBG, Hearthstone, FIFA, and League of Legends: Wild Rift. But entering Counter Strike 2 presents a new kind of challenge — one that requires patience, grinding, and strategic boosting in the European rankings.
The team will need to earn VRS points through smaller qualifiers and regional events, building their reputation from the ground up. ScreaM’s presence, even if just as a content creator for now, will likely draw attention and fan support, which can help boost morale and visibility in early matches.
Given the caliber of talent in FUT’s roster, it’s not unreasonable to expect them to climb the CS2 ranks quickly. If the players mesh well and ScreaM eventually returns in full force, FUT could very well become a dark horse contender in upcoming tournaments.
Will FUT Esports Take Over CS2?
FUT Esports’ entry into Counter Strike 2 marks a significant moment — not just for the organization, but for the broader CS2 scene. With a lineup that balances veteran leadership, youthful firepower, and massive fan appeal, FUT is making all the right moves to position itself as a serious contender.
Whether this team can convert its potential into results remains to be seen. But one thing’s for sure: FUT is on a mission to boost its CS2 rank, and the entire esports world will be watching.
