The Best Aim Training Routines from Valorant Pro-Players in 2024

We have asked the best Valorant players from our Radiant team what you need to do to reach the highest ranks, and they have delivered! With 2024 starting out with a lot of new content for Valorant, honing your aiming skills can be the key to climbing the ranks effortlessly. While the game has a low skill floor, efficient aim-training routines can significantly boost your performance. This guide will teach you the three most impactful Valorant aim-training routines designed to help you sharpen your skills and dominate the battlefield.

Voltaic x WHJ Valorant Aim Training Playlist

Aim Lab's Voltaic x WHJ aim training playlist stands out as an excellent resource for refining your fundamentals and witnessing tangible improvements within three months. Developed by the FPS-focused community, Voltaic, this routine focuses on solo training, making it perfect for players who may not have lots of experience with third-party aim trainers.

The playlist focuses on achieving smoothness and precision in aiming, targeting common issues like rushed flicks and spam clicking. It is recommended as a post-game activity, allowing you to concentrate fully on boosting your skills without compromising your performance in ranked matches. However, every single Radiant professional recommended that you do not extend the Voltaic aim-training sessions for too long, since they will exhaust you after about half an hour, leading to the training doing more harm than anything else!

Valorant Aim Training Routine Using a Metronome

Introducing the concept of "dead zoning," this routine incorporates a metronome set to 120 beats per minute. The goal is to strafe sideways, pause briefly, and shoot with each metronome click, followed by a quick change in direction. Access your in-game settings, enable the "Graph only" option for Shooting Error under the STATS tab, and set up the metronome in the background using Google.

The best way to do this is by executing drills in the Practice Range with the Ghost pistol. The routine evolves from simple strafing to focusing on shooting at the central wooden pillar while strafing. Gradually increasing the beats per minute to 180, this training method encourages accurate shooting with minimal reliance on mouse adjustments. The emphasis is on releasing the strafe key rather than fixating on the same spot, boosting your ability to shoot accurately while moving.

The Miyagi Method for Calm Aim

In Valorant, landing the first accurate shot is often more crucial than shooting first. The Miyagi method, known for teaching the "calm aim" technique, addresses this aspect of the game. Launch the game, enter the Practice Range, and select "Eliminate 100" and "Strafe." Equip Guardian, Sheriff, or Ghost, shoot the START square, and focus on tracking targets' heads during brief pauses.

Repeat this process twice, then transition into a Deathmatch where your objective isn't securing kills. Instead, focus on using sideways strafe keys while tracking opponents' heads with your crosshair. These exercises help overcome the tendency to impulsively shoot upon spotting an enemy, promoting a calm mindset and precise aiming.

In these three Valorant aim-training routines, you will find a solid foundation for improvement and achieving success in ranked play. However, you should always remember that while regular aim practice is essential, understanding maps, analyzing gameplay scenarios, studying professional players' strategies, and integrating them into your gameplay are equally important. Patience and dedication are key components of learning, as progress takes time. So, embrace these training routines, stay focused, and watch as your ranking steadily increases on Valorant's competitive ladder.
