Streaming Platform Kick and Valorant's BLEED Esports Team Up

Kick, the recently founded streaming platform, is rising in the esports industry with a partnership deal with Bleed Esports, a prominent organization in Valorant and CS2.

Just 15 months after its launch, Kick has become a powerhouse in the streaming world, attracting major streamers such as xQc, Amouranth, and even bringing Tfue back from retirement.

In order to boost its presence beyond being a platform for just individual streamers, Kick has also entered into partnerships with famous traditional sports organizations like Alfa Romeo's F1 team, Everton, and Melbourne Victory.

Kick's latest venture into esports involves a significant partnership with Bleed Esports, as announced on January 29. This collaboration positions Kick as one of Bleed's main sponsors, with its branding prominently featured on Bleed Esports' jerseys and social media platforms.

Bleed Esports and Kick Collaboration

Nikola Lipovac, Bleed's Head of Sales and Partnership, excitedly revealed the collaboration in a press release, stating, "With the impact that Kick has had in streaming, this partnership signifies a dedication to providing our community with unparalleled content and engagement." This move comes at a busy time for Bleed, as they gear up for VCT Pacific in 2024 with their star NA player, Jacob "yay" Whiteaker, and recently signed their first EU Counter-Strike 2 team.

Bleed's Partnership with DSG

Bleed Esports is not limiting its partnerships to Kick alone. In recent months, the organization has been making strategic moves, including a collaboration with Disguised, an esports organization led by popular Twitch streamer Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang. The partnership aims to establish and boost a Valorant team competing in the SEA: Malaysia and Singapore region. As part of this collaboration, a content partnership is also in the works between Bleed Esports and Disguised Toast's organization.

Riot Games' Affiliate Team Partnerships Program

The partnership between Bleed Esports and Disguised Toast falls under Riot Games' new Affiliate Team Partnerships program, introduced in 2024. This program facilitates content creation and commercial collaborations, highlighting the new opportunities of esports partnerships. Furthermore, it allows players on Disguised Toast's roster to be called up and play for the Bleed roster in VCT Pacific, by designating them as two-way players.

Kick's Impact on Esports

While it's unclear if Bleed Esports will have streaming obligations with Kick as of this time, the press release emphasizes Kick's role in providing Bleed with a cutting-edge streaming platform. This suggests that Kick is actively supporting Bleed’s objective of boosting Valorant gameplay broadcasts to a global audience.

Other VCT Pacific Teams Partnered with Kick

Bleed Esports is not the only team partnering with Kick in the VCT Pacific. Team Secret and B8 Esports have also announced partnerships with Kick in December 2023 and November 2023, respectively, signaling Kick's growing influence in the esports scene.

Kick's entry into the esports domain through its partnership with Bleed Esports shows how the platform is quickly growing and gaining influence in the gaming and streaming industries. As Kick aligns itself with prominent esports organizations, it solidifies its position as a key player in shaping the future of esports partnerships, content creation, and commercial collaborations in competitive gaming.
