This event is sure to boost Valorant's popularity and set it amidst the ranks of the best FPS games out there. With an astounding prize pool of US$80,000, this event is not one to miss. But before the battles begin, let's dive into the lineup of teams that have received invites for this prestigious tournament.

The curtain was raised on this exciting roster of teams thanks to Vietnamese livestreaming platform On Live. VTVCab and AfreecaTV have been working hard to host the Vietnam Qualifier for the event, which Fancy United Esports won. Keep in mind that the announcement post, which had been making the rounds since October 9, has mysteriously disappeared. We're curious about this too, and VALO2ASIA is already on the case, trying to get to the bottom of it. Stay tuned for any juicy updates.

Now, let's talk about the teams, and boy, are there some heavy hitters on the list! Hailing from the Pacific region, we have Paper Rex, DRX, and T1. These three powerhouses have made waves in the competitive VALORANT scene. They were the top three teams in the initial VCT Pacific League and have participated in both Masters Tokyo and Champions Los Angeles. Paper Rex, in particular, is leading the pack with their second-place finish in Los Angeles and a third-place finish in Tokyo. Keep an eye out for Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha, who will make his debut boosting Paper Rex's roster, representing them in style.

DRX, the hometown heroes, made quite an impression at the TEN VALORANT Global Invitational, with academy player Cho "Flashback" Min-hyuk stepping in as a star performer. They managed to secure a BO3 win against the formidable EDward Gaming, making quite the statement against tier-one opposition.

T1 is in the mix as well, with their revamped roster featuring Lee "k1Ng" Seung-won, Ham "iZu" Woo-joo, and Kevin "xccurate" Susanto. These players have already been in action for two off-season events, although without the Indonesian player due to visa issues. They're a team with immense potential and are hungry to prove themselves on the big stage.

From the Americas, we have Sentinels, a team that needs no introduction. They've been an absolute powerhouse in the North American VALORANT scene and are now stepping into the Asian arena. This marks the first time the Sentinels will be participating in an Asian tournament, and fans can't wait to see how they fare against international competition.

Team Liquid, the VCT EMEA champions, are representing the EMEA region. However, they're in a bit of a pickle, as they've yet to finalize their starting five following the departure of Dom "soulcas" Sulcas and Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel, and will still need to find a couple of players to boost the squad. It's going to be interesting to see who they bring to the table for this grand event.

Last but certainly not least, we have the sole Chinese representatives, EDward Gaming. This team has been a force to be reckoned with, having recently crossed paths with DRX and T1 at the TEN VALORANT Global Invitational. Their performance in the 2023 VCT season left them with two respectable 5–6th place finishes in Tokyo and Los Angeles. Keep an eye on Guo "Haodong" Haodong and his squad; they are here to make their presence felt.
