TFT: Runeterra Reforged Horizonbound players can now travel to the treacherous smuggling stronghold of Bilgewater and the remote jungle areas of Ixtal, taking TFT to the outskirts of Runeterra for the first time.

In Horizonbound, champions from both areas will take part in the action.

Players may engage in combat in four new arenas with nautical themes as they adapt to shifting team dynamics and portals that provide unexpected changes to the game's fundamental principles.

Through its revised Battle Pass, Horizonbound offers players additional cosmetic items to unlock and claim, giving them more options to express their personalities in the game while progressing through the ranks.

Twelve themed prizes are included on the free pass, while access to more than 30 aesthetic upgrades, including four visually diverse arenas, is available to those who choose the premium pass.

What are the new traits in TFT: Horizonbound?

The new traits will include Bilgewater, Ixtal, and Vanquisher.

Bilgewater counts with Illaoi, Graves, Twisted Fate, Nautilus, Miss Fortune, Nilah, and Gangplank (who will be the Tier 5 unit for this trait).

The pirates will mark enemies they damage, and after a brief delay, a cannon shot will hit them, dealing physical damage that scales with the damage they sustained prior to the shot.

Gangplank, the Reaver King, returned from his underwater grave as a legendary unit who can switch between a native sunfire cape if he’s placed in the frontline or a native spear of shojin if he’s in the backline. His ability will summon a huge ship that will boost the team’s stats and damage the enemies.

Gangplank's Reaver King skill

Ixtal counts only Milio, Qiyana, and Neeko, who buff a couple of hexes with elemental powers. Any champion standing inside an empowered hex will gain a bonus for stone, reduced damage, and crowd control resistance. Ice causes a Zhonyas hourglass-like effect. Electricity adds an additional stun to their ability. Wood gives the champion extra maximum health points. Fire applies a "burning" effect to damage from abilities or auto-attacks, and wind applies an attack speed buff.

These hexes can be improved even more later in the game.

The last trait to be added, Vanquisher, which will be attributed to Jhin, Ashe, Nilah, and Xayah, can apply critical strikes to their spells and also deal true damage to enemies with HP above 1600.

As for the new champions for other traits, Silco is returning as a sorcerer. His new skill causes an area-of-effect and damage-over-time splash that heals allies as well. Talk about an overloaded kit!

Mordekaiser will enter the fray with his League of Legends ultimate that can boost all of his stats during the "cage match" and also after if he defeats the transported opponent.

Fiora will be added to Demacia, and her ability, Blade Waltz, is returning from the past!

Milio and Naafiri will join TFT for the first time ever as well. Milio will act as CC support, while Naafiri will be the second Darkin in this set of TFT. While Naafiri’s skill will be mainly damage-focused, she’ll also work as a support due to the Darkin trait.

Riot has also concentrated on enhancing Teamfight Tactics as a whole and has fixed several problems and bugs. It is now simpler than ever to understand what each champion brings to the table before allocating valuable bench spaces to them, thanks to an enhanced Champion Inspect tool that provides another layer of UI refinement to the game.
