All the new items coming in LoL Season 2024

League of Legends players, brace yourselves! Season 2024 is bringing a monumental change to the game, and it's not just about the Void's influence or sweeping map alterations. The spotlight is on the game's items, with a significant overhaul that's set to redefine the player experience. Radiance: 18% Summoner Spell Haste

First Light: Gain 3% bonus Heal and Shield power, as well as 5 Ability Power for every 100% of Base Mana Regeneration.

Kaenic Rookern

Spectral Cowl + Negatron Cloak + 750 Gold

400 HP, 80 MR, +150% Base Health Regen

Magebane: Receive a magic shield equal to 20% of your maximum health after abstaining from magic damage for 12 seconds.

Hollow Radiance

Bami’s Cinder + Spectral Cowl + 550 Gold

600 HP, 40 Magic Resist, 100% Base Mana Regen

Immolate: When taking or dealing damage, initiate the release of (10 + 1.75% bonus HP) magic damage per second to nearby enemies for a duration of 3 seconds. Against minions, this damage is 25% more potent. The effect's duration resets upon taking or dealing damage.

Desolate: Killing an enemy deals (20 + 3.5% bonus HP) magic damage in a zone around them.

Unending Despair

Chain Vest + Kindlegem + Ruby Crystal + 800 Gold

400 HP, 55 Armor, 10 Ability Haste

Anguish: Inflict (3% bonus HP + 20-40 (scaling with level)) magic damage to nearby champions and heal for 250% of the damage dealt every 7 seconds while engaged in combat with champions.

Trailblazer

Chain Vest + Winged Moonplate + 800 Gold

250 HP, 40 Armor, 5% Movement Speed

Lead the Way: While moving, acquire a boost of 20 Move Speed. Upon reaching maximum speed, generate a trail that enhances the Move Speed of allied champions by 15% of your own. Your next attack expends the accumulated Move Speed, causing Melee champions to slow the target by 50% for 1 second.

Caster’s Companion

Lost Chapter + Hextech Alternator + 700 Gold

90 AP, 600 Mana, 20 Ability Haste

Load: Gain a Shot Charge every 3 seconds, up to 6.

Fire: Damaging abilities use all Shot Charges, dealing extra magic damage to the target and an additional nearby target per charge. The additional damage amounts to (40 + 8% AP) for each charge. In cases where there are not enough targets in proximity, for each remaining shot, the damage is replicated on the primary target, accounting for 35% of the initial damage.

Cryptbloom

2850 Gold

Blighting Jewel + Fiendish Codex + 850 Gold

70 AP, 30% Magic Penetration, 15 Ability Haste

Life From Death (60 second cooldown): Upon securing a takedown on an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them, generate a healing nova at their location, restoring 50 + 50% of Ability Power to nearby allies.

Stormsurge

Hextech Alternator + Aether Wisp + 850 Gold

100 AP, 12 Magic Penetration, 5% Move Speed

Stormraider (20 second cooldown): Dealing 35% of a champion’s max HP within 2.5 seconds affects them with “Squall” and grants 25% for 2 seconds.

Stormsurge: Following a 2-second delay, Stormsurge unleashes a lightning strike on the target, dealing 100-200 (depending on level) (+ 50% AP) magic damage. Should the target perish either from the lightning or before the strike occurs, it triggers an immediate explosion in a wide area around them, rewarding you with 30 Gold.

Malignance

Lost Chapter + Fiendish Codex + 900 Gold

80 Ability Power, 20 Ability Haste, 600 Mana

Ultimate Power: Gain 15 Ability Haste for your Ultimate.

Ultimate Flames: Upon damaging an enemy champion with your Ultimate, scorch the ground beneath them for 3 seconds. This fiery effect inflicts 60 (+ 6% AP) magic damage per second and diminishes their Magic Resistance by 6–12 [scaling with level] for the duration they remain on the burning terrain.

Haunting Guise

1300 Gold

Amplifying Tome + Ruby Crystal + 500 Gold

35 Ability Power, 200 Health

Madness: For each second in combat with champions, deal 2% bonus damage (up to 6%).

Voltaic Cyclosword

2900 Gold

The Brutalizer + Kircheis Shard + 863 Gold

55 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 15 Ability Haste

Energized: Movement and attacking actions will generate an Energized Attack. Dashes and entering Stealth accelerate the Energized stacking process by 75%.

Firmament: Your Energized Attack bestows an additional 100 bonus physical damage and (for melee) induces a 99% Slow on enemies for a duration of 0.75 seconds.

Profane Hydra

3400 Gold

Tiamat + The Brutalizer + 863 Gold

60 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 20 Ability Haste

Heretical Slash: Inflict physical damage equal to 65% of your total Attack Damage on nearby enemies. This damage amplifies to 97.5% of your total Attack Damage against enemies whose health falls below 30%.

Cleave: Attacks deliver 40% of Attack Damage (for melee) or 20% of Attack Damage (for ranged) to other units located within 450 units of the struck target.

Hubris

3000 Gold

Serrated Dirk + Caulfield’s Warhammer + 900 Gold

60 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 15 Ability Haste

Ego: When you kill a champion, you are granted a statue of yourself.

Eminence: Upon getting a takedown on an enemy you damaged in the last 3 seconds, acquire 10 Attack Damage, with an additional +1 per Statue, lasting for a duration of 60 seconds.

Opportunity

55 Attack Damage, 18 Lethality, 6% Movement Speed

Murder: After remaining out of combat with champions for 8 seconds, acquire bonus Lethality. This increased Lethality persists for 3 seconds after dealing damage to champions.

Murderspeed: Getting a takedown on a champion within 3 seconds of damaging them will boost you with 150 decaying movement speed for 1.5 seconds.

Sundered Sky

3100 Gold

Tunneler + Caulfield’s Warhammer + 900 Gold

55 Attack Damage, 15 Ability Haste, 300 Health

Lightshield Strike: The initial attack on a champion will result in a critical strike, dealing 150% damage and restoring health equal to 110% of base Attack Damage plus 8% of missing health.

Nitro Hexaegis

3000 Gold

Tunneler + Noonquiver + 600 Gold

55 Attack Damage, 20% Attack Speed, 300 Health

Gain 30 ultimate ability haste.

Casting your ultimate will empower you, boosting your attack speed by 35% and giving you 15% bonus movement speed for 7 seconds.

After heavy backlash from the community, Riot finally agreed to remove Mythic items, as they were universally considered to deny the players’ creativity when building items.

Changes to the Support Item Tree

League of Legends Season 2024 Items

The support role is undergoing a significant transformation with the complete rework of the support starter item tree.

Every other support item is making way for this new tree, promising players a plethora of decision-making opportunities with dozens of new choices that will help you when boosting your team.

World Atlas

Cost: 400 Gold

Stats: 30 Health, 25% Mana Regeneration, 25% Health Regeneration, 3 Gold per 10 seconds

Support Quest:

Acquire 500 Gold from this item to transform it into a Runic Compass, granting the player the ability to hold wards.

Gold Generation:

Gain a charge every 18 seconds, up to 3 charges. While near an ally champion, expend a charge to earn Gold through the following methods:

  • Damaging abilities and attacks against champions or structures yield 30 Gold (melee) / 28 Gold (ranged).
  • Killing a minion by any means rewards you with 20 Gold, with the nearest allied champion obtaining the same amount of Gold they would have received if they had killed the minion.

Runic Compass (Evolves from World Atlas)

Upgraded from World Atlas at 500 Gold generated through its passives.

Stats: 100 Health, 50% Mana Regeneration, 50% Health Regeneration, 5 Gold per 10 seconds

Support Quest:

Accumulate 1000 Gold from this item to transform it into Bounty of Worlds.

Gold Generation:

Gain a charge every 18 seconds, up to 3 charges. While in proximity to an ally champion, consume a charge to earn gold via the following methods:

  • Damaging abilities and attacks against champions or structures provide 34 Gold (melee) / 32 Gold (ranged).
  • Killing a minion by any means grants you 28 Gold, and the nearest allied champion receives the same amount of Gold they would have obtained had they killed the minion.

Bounty of Worlds (Evolves from Runic Compass)

Upgraded from Runic Compass at 1000 Gold generated through its passives.

Stats: 200 Health, 75% Mana Regeneration, 75% Health Regeneration, 5 Gold per 10 seconds

 

Upgrade options:

Blessing of the Mountain

Become Blessed to reduce incoming champion damage by 40% (melee) / 25% (ranged), lingering for 2 seconds after taking damage from a champion. Upon expiration, release a shockwave around you that slows nearby enemies by 50% for 1.5 seconds. This effect refreshes after leaving combat for 15 seconds.

Solstice Sleigh

Slowing or immobilising an enemy champion grants you and the nearby ally with the lowest health an additional 120 bonus health and 90 movement speed for 4 seconds. Cooldown: 20 seconds.

Bloodsong

Spellblade

After using an ability, enhance your next attack with an additional 75 physical damage on-hit (1.5-second cooldown). If the target is a champion, apply Expose Weakness, increasing the damage they take by 12% (melee) / 8% (ranged) for 6 seconds.

Dream Maker

Dream Maker

Generate a Blue Dream Bubble and a Purple Dream Bubble every 8 seconds. Healing or shielding another ally deploys both Dream Bubbles to them, empowering them for 3 seconds. The Blue Bubble reduces the next incoming hit by 140 damage, while the Purple Bubble grants an additional 90 bonus magic damage on the next hit.

Zaz’Zak’s Realmspike

Void Explosion

Inflict ability damage to a champion, triggering an explosion at their current location that damages the target and nearby enemies. This explosion deals 50 (+3% maximum health) magic damage, capped at 300 against monsters. Cooldown: 3 seconds.

With the removal of several component items, the build paths of existing items have been reshaped, resulting in some changes that may catch players off guard. The support starters are gone, and every support now commences with the World Atlas, signifying a significant shift in the landscape of support gameplay.

Alongside these changes, there will also be hundreds of tweaks to the existing Legendary and Mythic items (which will now be nerfed to fit the Legendary cathegory).

As League of Legends Season 2024 approaches, it's clear that the game is evolving in ways that will challenge players a lot more than in Season 2023.
