LoL Patch 25.06: Naafiri Rework, Your Shop Returns, and More
League of Legends patch 25.06 is hitting live servers on March 19, 2025, and while details are still scarce, one major change is already making waves—a mid-scope rework for Naafiri. This update aims to give the underwhelming Darkin assassin a much-needed boost and possibly solidify her place in the meta.
Beyond Naafiri’s changes, this patch also marks the return of Your Shop, much to the relief of players who feared its removal after the recent Hextech Chest controversy. Here’s a closer look at everything coming in patch 25.06.
Naafiri’s Rework: A Second Chance for the Darkin Pack
Naafiri entered the League of Legends roster with an aggressive playstyle but never quite found her footing in the jungle or mid lane, especially in among players grinding the ranks. She saw brief dominance after release, only to be nerfed into obscurity. Unlike other niche champions who develop a dedicated player base, Naafiri struggled to gain traction. Now, Riot is stepping in with a rework aimed at making her more viable.
Base Stat Adjustments
- HP growth per level: 120 → 110
- HP regen: 9 (+0.9 per level) → 8 (+0.8 per level)
These slight nerfs reduce her durability, likely to balance out the stronger elements of her rework.
Passive: We Are More
- Max packmates: 2/3 at levels 1/9 → 2/3/4/5 at levels 1/9/12/15
- Packmate damage: 12-32 (+5% bonus AD) → 10-20 (+4% bonus AD)
- Packmate tower damage: 25% → 50%
- Packmates now deal 155% damage to monsters.
Increasing Naafiri’s packmates at later levels and improving their effectiveness against objectives could significantly boost her jungle viability. However, their overall damage output has been adjusted down slightly.
Q: Darkin Daggers
- First cast damage: 35-75 → 30-70
- Second cast damage: 30-90 → 25-85
This is a minor nerf to her poke damage, but it’s clear Riot wants her power to come from her pack rather than her daggers.
W: The Call of the Pack (formerly Naafiri’s R)
- Now grants untargetability on cast for 1 second.
- Movement speed: 70-100% decaying over 4s → 20-30% for 5s
- Cooldown reduced: 120-100s → 20-16s
- Mana cost: 100 → 60
- No longer grants shields, vision pulse, or resets on takedown.
This change repurposes her old ultimate into her W, reducing its cooldown and utility but making it a more accessible combat tool.
E: Eviscerate
- Cooldown reduced: 10-8s → 9-7s
- Range increased: 350 → 450
- Now dashes to the cursor instead of the full distance.
A simple quality-of-life change that improves control over her mobility.
R: Hounds Pursuit (formerly her W dash)
- Now recastable if Naafiri secures a takedown within 7 seconds.
- Cooldown: 22-14s → 110-80s
- Damage increased: 30-190 (+80% bonus AD) → 150-350 (+120% bonus AD)
This reworked ultimate transforms Naafiri’s old W into a high-damage, high-impact finisher. The ability to recast on takedowns could make her a deadly snowball champion, boosting her threat level in fights.
Your Shop Returns
For those who love in-game discounts, there’s good news—Your Shop is back in patch 25.06. After concerns that Riot might remove the system entirely following the Hextech Chest controversy, its return ensures players still have a shot at snagging champion skins at a discount.
What Else to Expect in Patch 25.06?
With the PBE build not yet live, the full details of patch 25.06 remain unclear. However, given the scope of Naafiri’s rework, this update could significantly shake up the meta. Whether she finds her niche as a mid laner or jungler remains to be seen, but these changes are clearly aimed at boosting her relevance.
Stay tuned for further updates as the patch notes continue to develop. With Naafiri’s overhaul and the return of Your Shop, patch 25.06 is shaping up to be a significant update for League of Legends players.
