When can we expect Season 2 of League of Legends - Arcane?

For a while now, Arcane Season 2 has become one of the greatest and most eagerly awaited series since streaming platforms were created. Everyone learned, during the first season, that anything can happen when qualified individuals collaborate on a video game adaptation. However, an entire year and a half have passed since the premiere of the first season, and fans are asking when they are going to return to the Runeterra universe of Arcane.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent chatted with LPL broadcaster Gian Ze Yuan while a group of senior Rioters were recently traveling in China. We were thrilled to find that the League of Legends themed series, Arcane, was mentioned in the interview. Although there's no surprise there, the fact that they brought it up boosts our expectations for the second season of the record-breaking show!

Fortiche and Riot appear to be working diligently to recreate the magic of Arcane Season 1 in the sequel. Even those who had never heard of Runeterra or League of Legends were fascinated by the realm and its inhabitants, but most of all by their stories.

Currently, it appears that a section of the second season has already been completed, but Laurent said that there continues to be more work to be done in order to maintain the same level of quality or boost it to an even higher level than the first season's.

In addition to that, he said that filming for Season 2 could have begun sooner, but Riot waited until the first season's Netflix release to do so since they were unsure of the show's ratings performance.

We know that there is already a lot of material available, but it appears that it's still some time away from really being released because Laurent did mention that he had just finished watching the third episode of Season 2 before traveling to China.

Back when Season 1 was released, we saw a huge rise in popularity for champions like Caitlyn, Vi, and even Viktor, who were used for LoL Elo Boosting more than ever. We're very curious as to which champions will be heavily featured in Season 2, since that will most likely mean they get new skins and people start playing them a lot more! Warwick is a 99% bet, and we can't wait to see him in action!

However, Arcane Season 2 won't be arriving until 2023, according to a recent interview with the company's CEO, Nicolo Laurent, with the Chinese publication Billibilli.

He said, about the second season of the popular Netflix series, "it's unfortunately not going to be this year."

Even if Season 2 doesn't debut until at least 2024, it wouldn't be unexpected if it began streaming early in January or February.

Given where Season 2 appears to be in the development process, a Q1 2024 release seems reasonable.

The upcoming episodes will officially have been in development for over two years by this autumn, so that's plenty of time for Season 2 to be completed.

Fans can keep their eyes peeled for a teaser and an official launch date release at this year's League of Legends World Championships, which is expected to take place at the end of November.
