Lifeline is the next legend to receive a full rework before Apex Legends Season 23, according to leaks circulating within the community. Osvaldatore, a prominent Apex leaker, disclosed details about the upcoming changes, revealing that Lifeline will receive a Prestige skin that will dynamically change its appearance during matches based on certain in-game achievements, as well as a huge boost to all her skills.

Given that Season 23 will bring these changes, it's unlikely that more details about Lifeline's rework and the corresponding prestige skin will surface soon. Lifeline will be the second legend in Apex Legends to undergo a full overhaul, joining Revenant. Revenant received a new set of abilities and a refreshed appearance in Season 18, signaling a comprehensive transformation for the character.

When does Apex Legends Season 21 begin?

In the upcoming Season 21 of Apex Legends, players can anticipate the introduction of a new legend named Alter, as per recent leaks. HYPERMYSTx shared the leak on X (formerly Twitter), indicating that Alter will make her debut alongside the launch of the new season on May 7 at 10 a.m. PST or 6 p.m. GMT.

While specific details about Alter's abilities remain undisclosed, leaks have provided some insights into her kit:

Passive Ability: 'Gift From the Rift' reportedly allows Alter to remotely claim any item (excluding armor) from any Apex Legends Death Box after interacting with it. This unique ability could give Alter an advantage in quickly acquiring essential items without needing to directly approach the Death Box, boosting her looting efficiency and survivability in intense firefights. Tactical Ability: 'Void Passage' enables Alter to create a portal passageway through a surface. This tactical ability could offer versatile mobility options for Alter and her team, allowing them to swiftly navigate through obstacles, flank opponents, or retreat to safety when under pressure. Ultimate Ability: 'Void Nexus' creates a regroup point that Alter and her teammates can use to travel back to a previous placement location. This ultimate ability introduces strategic possibilities for Alter's team, enabling them to maintain map control, execute coordinated attacks, or facilitate quick escapes during engages.

Currently, only one image of Alter's full body has surfaced, showcasing her as a semi-human with robotic components. It's speculated that she may use her robotic hand to activate her Tactical and Ultimate abilities, hinting at a visually striking and technologically advanced character design not uncommon in Apex Legends.

According to the leaks, Alter is presumed to be of Chinese origin and was trained as a killer at a young age. Her mercenary team's betrayal and the loss of her parents allegedly led her to madness, adding depth to her backstory and potentially influencing her motivations and interactions within the Apex Games.
